About and Links
Oh, hey. I know this is an about page, but hmm... What do I talk about...I'm BNT (any pronouns), a 20-year-old hobbyist artist, writer, and some guy from Thailand. I like creating stuff for things I enjoy, whether it's my original settings or medias I like. I'm also currently a college student (though I'm not taking art, if you're wondering). Far from being a professional of any kind.

Questions
About art
Do you take commissions/requests?
Whether my art commissions are available or not, check out my Ko-fi and see if I have art commissions open there. Otherwise, hit me up on Discord or other linked places. I do art request giveaways on my Discord server sometimes, though. But it's pretty spontaneous.Art Program?
Procreate, Ibis Paint, Firealpaca, and Goodnotes (for doodles). I usually jump around between a few programs to draw. Can I repost your art?
I won't be stopping you, as long as you don't claim to draw it yourself. Linking the art source back to me is very appreciated. If I draw that art for you (whether it's a request or a commission), I wouldn't mind about not being credited as much. If you actually claim it as your own art, or use my art for AI/crypto stuff, or stole my art for some merchandise, I'm personally hunting you down.(You can trace/reference my art for art practicing purposes though.)
How do I draw better? (Generic/Default answer from me)
My answer generally boils down to "narrow down what exactly do you want to work on, and go look for resources to improve that".Narrow down what you want to draw. Do you want to draw a human? A character? A scenary? For example, if you want to draw a character—narrow down what you want to work on/improve. Human anatomy? Drawing poses? Drawing cloth folds?
Anyways, here are more unorganized drawing advices that have helped both me and other people.
- if you're picking something to trace to practice art, I'd suggest leaning more towards using real-life photographies, or references based on real-life stuff (like those 3d anatomy models). it might help to figure out how stuff (anatomy, cloth folds, etc.) actually works/looks like to draw them
- trace that reference to practice art. pick a good or reliable reference to build drawing muscle with (via tracing or referencing)
- break down what you're sketching/drawing/referencing into simple/easily replicatable shapes. try to make it easier on yourself to draw.
- ^ the same sentiment applies to breaking down proportions too. i usually use "this is X heads tall" when trying to reference human proportions when it's the whole human body
- if you're struggling with "my drawings of a human/animal/etc. look weird", try to check if working on the proportions might help. like idk adjust the head, the eye size, limb length or thickness, etc.
- sometimes you gotta sacrifice realism/anatomy accuracy for dynamic drawings
- when you're drawing clothes, how you draw the folds will affect its perceived texture too. figure out whether the cloth you're drawing is soft/hard/thick/thin/etc., and look for references for those types of clothes
- try switching drawing brushes/programs/mediums, if you feel like you're hitting some kind of an art block. it might help.
About my characters/settings
Can I draw/write/make fanart about them?
Sure. I'd prefer no NSFW, though. Are these two characters in a romantic relationship/have romantic feelings for each other? / Can I ship these two characters together?
Unless I've explictedly said that they're in love/dating/married/exes/etc., they're probably not in a romantic relationship. (Note: I use "partners" mainly in platonic sense.)And when it comes to a character's feelings towards the other... A lot of my characters would be considered aromantic or simply not interested in romance, so uh. Keep that in mind. But honestly, you can always ask me these kinds of question. Sometimes I leave these kinds of stuff vague on purpose.
If you ship any of the characters together, I'm not stopping you. (Though we might end up disagreeing on how we see the characters' dynamics, if you decide to tell me you ship certain characters together. I do have my personal off-limits/squicks/triggers too.)
Though, keep in mind that I like to explore platonic relationship dynamics.
The character's pronouns are contradicting in their profile, how do I refer to them? / What's this character's gender?
The pronouns I mainly use to refer to a character in their profile are often my default pronouns for them, otherwise, they/them is a safe option if you aren't sure. If a character (like Willow, for example) is referred to by a pronoun in their profile, but a different set of pronouns when it came to how other characters refer to them, you can choose any of those pronouns used for them.Honestly, most of the characters would fall under non-binary spectrum, or not given any binary genders. They're usually not mentioned, unless a character explictedly mentions/implies their gender. You're free to ask any questions about it, though.
Though, a good rule of thumb is to not think/press too much about it. I probably wouldn't care too much.
